Synopsis:

Death is My Lover… Happy Day! is a meditation on our individual existential struggles coming out of the last couple years of fragmented and isolated living. We waited on policies and/or societal readiness to reengage and as we try to muster up the will and courage to reconnect. We have taken inspiration from writers such as Caryl Churchill, Charles Mee, Samuel Beckett, and Sarah Kane to channel our multitude of feelings and dealings into this evening of reckoning. A bold and risky glimpse into the many more moving engagements of the heart, brain and community in this new world and open this new communal theater space! Conceived and Compiled by Jill Kathleen Hoiles with Eugene MaPerformed by Jill Kathleen HoilesDirected by Eugene Ma
